Bichanakandi place for tourists

Bichanakandi in Sylhet

Bichanakandi (বিছানাকান্দি)is a very interesting place for tourists. It is very attractive either internal or abroad tourists. So, beautiful place Bichanakandi (বিছানাকান্দি). It is a new tourist place in Sylhet and full of amazing natural beauties. Bichanakandi is located at Gowainghat Upazilla under Sylhet district. It is only 40 kilometer away from Sylhet town and takes one and half hours by road. But I will prefer for the tourists to go by boat as the tourists will get some extras or bonuses. If the tourists travelers go by boat they will enjoy too many types of scenery over the two sides of the river. Piyain is a river and rocks, stones are full at the river comes from Meghalaya hills. Bichanakandi place is fill with small rocks, creeks and designed like a bed (বিছানা).

Direction from Dhaka: The tourists can go three ways to Sylhet from Dhaka as by air, by train or by road (bus). There are two three airs regularly fly to and from Dhaka to Sylhet, three trains daily ups and downs and several bus services are available as Green Line (a/c), Hanif, Shamoly, Unique etc. The trains leave from Kamlapur. But for the tourists better to rid from Air Port Rail station. The buses leave Dhaka from different places as Mohammadpur, Kalabagan, Panthapath, Sayedabad and Jatrabari. From very early morning to mid night the buses leave from Dhaka to Sylhet. It takes around 6 hours.

Boga Lake - an exiting place where the tourists like best

Description of Boga Lake

Boga Lake is a very beautiful place for tourist either internal or external tourists. It is situated at Ruma Upazilla under Bandorbon district in Bangladesh.  It is surrounded by small hill and embodied lake.  The area of the lake is about 15 acres of land, average deep is about 38 meter and height from the sea about 2,400 feet. It is the highest sweet water lake ever in Bangladesh. The Boga Lake is about 70 kilometer from the Bandorbon district town and very near to the Keokaradong hill.  The Boga Lake is only 29 kilometer inside at the Ruma Upazilla. It is at the top of the Poitai hills. It is naturally very rich and attractive to the tourists and its formation is very amazing like a volcano mouth. This place is full of aqua and there are some fishes also. The lake is embodied three sides with hills. The hills average highet is 46 meter and covered with bamboo garden. No water can pass either in or out of the Lake. The water sometimes very crystal and sometimes is colored. There are many myth about the Boga Lake how it was created.

Way to Boga Lake
It is a very hilly area and no way to go at the Boga Lake rather than on walk or by boat. But recently some transportation is initiated as Jeep (Chander Gari). But maximum tourists used a separate or alternative way to observe the adventure. The tourists enjoy too much with this way. From Dhaka the tourists can go by bus. There are many transport like Shamoli Paribahan, Scania, Green Line etc. Some of the buses go directly to Bandorbon and some go up to Chittagang. From Chittagang there are buses to Bandorbon and from there the visitors/tourists can go as described above.

Sites and Hotel (Resort):
There are two places where the tourists can stay. One is managed by local tribe ‘BOM’ while the other is managed by government. There is an army camp there. There is a school, a Church and many natural sites to visit.  It is a very beautiful place to visit. Its natural beauty is amazing. Now a lot of tourists are visiting there and some bio diversity is on a threat. But yet a lot of tourists are visit the place every year. The best time to visit the Boga Lake area is from November to mid March.
